Jalopy Open Source Code Formatting Tool for JDeveloper 10g Production (9.0.5.X)

Jalopy is a source code formatter/beautifier/pretty printer for the Sun Java programming language. It is aimed to provide a full-featured, yet free alternative to the well-known Jindent. Plug-ins for Ant, Eclipse, JBuilder, JEdit and NetBeans, and JDeveloper

Installation Instructions
  • Unzip jalopy-jdeveloper-1.1.4.zip into your $JDEVELOPER_HOME/jdev/lib/ext directory
  • Restart JDeveloper 10g Production
  • You will see Jalopy listed in the about box under the Extensions button to verify that it is installed

 

Usage Instructions
  • Right click on a java file or container and select Format {0} (where {0} is the object selected)
